We Now Offer First Aid Training

It is with great pleasure to announce that we Construction Safety CS LTD have expanded and developed our training course portfolio which now includes the following First aid at Work Courses:

• EFAW – Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day) 3yr Qualification
• FAW First Aid at Work Refresher (2 day) this course can only be taken by individuals who have successfully completed the 3 day First Aid at Work Course
• FAW First Aid at Work (3 Day) 3yr Qualification

All of the above courses are facilitated by a very versatile trainer with over 30 years hands on experience and can be carried out at our training centre or (subject to numbers) at your workplace.

Who are our courses for?

EFAW – Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day) 3yr Qualification

The Emergency First Aid at Work course is our most common workplace First Aid course – The Emergency First Aid Training is perfect for anybody who is looking to be a responsible First Aider within a low-risk workplace. You can rest assured, that upon completion of this course, your certification will comply with all Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

If you work within a high-risk working environment such as the construction industry, we would recommend attending the First Aid at Work course which is more in-depth in comparison to the Emergency First Aid at Work course.

The Emergency First Aid at Work

The course is designed to teach you the skills required to offer CPR and First Aid comfortably and effectively in a real-life scenario. This is not just a workplace First Aid course, the Emergency First Aid at Work course can be attended by anybody who wishes to learn the skills of First Aid. It is a legal requirement for all companies in the UK to have at least one appointed Emergency First Aider in the workplace, as stated by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). On top of this, the importance of having the skills of First Aid can literally save a life! What’s more, employers can book this course for their employees and be rest assured that they have fulfilled their legal responsibilities for providing quality first aid training, without having to undertake any lengthy due diligence checks introduced in the recent HSE changes.

FAW First Aid at Work (3 Day) 3yr Qualification

The First Aid at Work qualification is a 3-day course, and it is specifically designed for individuals who wish to become a First Aider in their workplace. Upon successful completion, individuals will learn how to manage a range of illnesses and injuries that could occur within the workplace, all subject taught are in accordance with the first aid qualification specification. It will equip individuals with the life-saving First Aid skills needed to act in an emergency situation.

This course is ideal for individuals who wish to act as a first aider within their workplace and those who work in higher risk working environments. A high-risk working environment would be one such as construction sites and warehouses, for these sorts of working environments the risk is higher due to the increased likelihood of First Aid emergencies and accidents.
